Natasha – From a Struggling Accountant to a Yoga Coach

Natasha is 32 years old and a successful yoga coach. She began giving yoga lessons when she was 26. During her mid-twenties, she was struggling in keeping the tandem between her personal life and the balance sheets at work. One of her friends suggested her to start some Yoga to keep her calm and composed. During the short-term yoga classes, she started shedding tears releasing all the stress contained in her.

Her experience was soothing and her interest intensified in Yoga. She extended her yoga class duration. Soon in some time she was advising others about how beneficial it is. 

One day when a colleague’s wife approached her with an offer to be her Yoga Trainer during and after pregnancy, Natasha embarked on her journey as a Yoga Trainer. In a matter of time, she was providing Yoga Training to 4-5 females, all were friends and so the efforts were less. Soon she was earning as much with her weekend few hour lessons as her full-time job.

Meanwhile, she enrolled for an advanced Yoga training and came back learning a few more asanas. She continued her weekend Yoga Training and within a few months left her job. Now she was working half the time and earning 150 times.


Sunny – From a Good for nothing to a Yoga Coach

Sunny is 42 and a brilliant yoga coach. He was youngest among his 4 siblings and was raised with all the love and pampering. In society and community, he was avoided as he was 28, unmarried, unemployed and still living with parents.

One day as he came out rejected from just another interview, he was buying a hot dog and coffee and saw a “Yoga for Rejuvenating Career” sign. He enrolled for a 3-day trial. By the end of the session, he felt new energy flowing in his body and successfully cracked the interview.

He was so enthralled that he signed for weekend Yoga sessions. Soon his better side started shining out and he was getting in good books of people around. 

Sunny was heard a lot about praising Yoga. His HR requested him to conduct a 2-day Yoga training for PR Purpose. With PR recognition he got a call from other corporates too for conducting similar sessions. Soon in a year, Sunny was giving Corporate Yoga Training in other states, while still doing his jobs. With a tight schedule, he gave up his job and switched his career to being a Full-time Corporate Yoga Trainer. Within 5 years he conducted more than 200 short yoga sessions and hired his own team of 40 for handling the bookings. 


Ruby – From a Housewife to a Yoga Coach

Ruby is 62 and an inspiring Yoga Coach. Ruby lost her husband in a stroke a couple of years ago. With a family near her, it was easy to cope out the sadness of her husband’s demise. But as time passed, she felt lonely and hard to pass the time. Being a fitness freak she decided to hit the gym but resistance from family due to her age and health condition stopped her. Being too desperate she landed on a Yoga Classes ad by her google search results. She enrolled or the evening classes. Her first week made her feel disappointed and she regrets her decision. But during the next few days as the class took the pace, the history lectures shifted on to practicing movements and asanas, she realized the bliss of Yoga.

With her interest combined to her practice, soon she was cooking healthy snacks, carrying to classes, advising others on how to get a handle on doing various moves. Unfortunately, the class was shut down in a few months as the Trainer moved to another state, but she kept on meeting her class friends and conducting self-paced yoga sessions in parks and halls.

Soon more old-aged people joined her and she started getting small money just enough to run her own errands. Within a few months, she was training more than 40 elderly people and called in an old-age home for regular sessions.

These are just a few instances out of thousands of actual cases where people took yoga as a career and enjoyed the career-life balance.
